Day 01: Arrive Delhi - Local Sight Seeing
Traditional welcome on arrival in Delhi, India Travellers office executive will meet you at the airport and will escort you to hotel. Tour the historic sights of Old Delhi, including the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and enjoy Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. * Red Fort is closed on Mondays. Day 02: Delhi
Tailor made full day tour of New Delhi, including the Presidents Palace (exterior), India Gate and then visit to historical monuments of Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar. We finish sightseeing with a light and sound show at Akshardham Temple. Day 03: Delhi – Agra (200 Kms / 5 Hrs))
Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise or sunset. The early morning or evening light is perfect for photography. Also visit the Agra Fort. Akbar’s impressive Red Fort and the intimate tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah are also magnificent. * TajMahal is closed on Fridays. Day 04: Agra – Jaipur (240 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Today we drive to the royal city of Jaipur visiting en route Fatehpur Sikri, the once fabled and then abandoned Mughal capital and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 05: Jaipur
This morning, visit the ancient capital and magnificent fort at Amber, enjoy riding on elephants. Continue with Jaipur city tour, visiting the Royal Observatory and City Palace museum. We will also see the Palace of Winds, the Hawa Mahal, a striking landmark of Jaipur. Later visit colourful bazaars of Jaipur. Day 06: Jaipur – Nimaj (230 Kms / 5 Hrs)
This morning drive on to Nimaj. Experience the rural India, with a stay at this luxury tented camp. Explore village and nearby ancient temples. We visit the local villages and the farmlands, meet local people and see indigenous style of ‘organic’ farming. Day 07: Nimaj – Jodhpur (110 Kms / 2 Hrs)
Drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur stands on a range of sandstone hills. Explore Mehrangarh Fort and Jodhpur city including Jodhpur’s bustling and colourful clock tower market. Evening you can visit Umaid Bhawan Palace for a drink or dinner. Day 08: Jodhpur – Udaipur (250 Kms / 5 Hrs)
On our drive to Udaipur, visit Jain temples of Ranakpur, with their intricately carved pillars, these ancient temple are a photographer’s dream. En route India Travellers organises a Village Safari for a first-hand experience of the true rural life of India. Day 09: Udaipur
Morning tour of Udaipur, Explore the vast and exquisite City Palace of the Maharana with its famed crystal gallery. See the Fateh Sagar Lake and visit the Jagdish Temple. In the afternoon, a scenic cruise on the Lake Pichola including a visit to the Jagmandir Palace.
Day 10: Udaipur – Fly to Bombay)
In morning we go to airport in time for flight to Mumbai. Tailor made Mumbai city tour till we come back to Mumbai airport for International flight onwards.
