Day 01: Arrive Mumbai
India Travellers representative will receive you at Mumbai International Airport, and he will transfer you to the hotel. After breakfast drive out for a local tour of this beautiful city. Visit The Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Jahangir Art Gallery, the Victoria Terminus, Mahalaxmi temple, the Haji Ali tomb and so on.
Day 02: Mumbai – Excursion to Elephanta Caves (By Boat)
Today we visit Elephanta Caves, just 10 Kms away from the Gateway of India, are known for the rock cut cave temples dedicated for lord Shiva. It covers an area of about 60,000 square feet. It has 3 main entrances. Spend a day in this beautiful place and late in the evening return back to Mumbai city.
Day 03: Mumbai - Aurangabad – Ellora (30 Kms / 1 Hr)
Today morning transfer to the airport for flight from Bombay to Aurangabad. Aurangabad has been a place of great importance and was part of "Silk Route" exporting textiles, embroidered finery and beads made in nearby Paithan were exported to the markets of Greece, Rome and Egypt Afternoon we visit Ellora. The 34 rock cut caves in Ellora out of which 12 Buddhist, 17 Hindu and 5 Jain caves are built in proximity. Explore this World Heritage Site and in the evening drive back to Aurangabad. Day 04: Aurangabad – Ajanta (110 Kms / 2 Hrs) - Aurangabad Today visit Ajanta to explore the rock cut cave temples, an architectural masterpiece which depict ancient India's rich cultural heritage. The caves were mainly built as a worshipping and residing place for the Buddhist monks. Evening some sightseeing in Aurangabad. Day 05: Aurangabad - Mumbai Today morning fly to Mumbai and connect to your onwards destination. Price: On Request
