Day 01: Arrive Delhi - Local Sight Seeing
Traditional welcome on arrival in Delhi, India Travellers office executive will meet you at the airport and will escort you to hotel. Tour the historic sights of Old Delhi, including the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and enjoy Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. * Red Fort is closed on Mondays. Day 02: Delhi
Tailor made full day tour of New Delhi, including the Presidents Palace (exterior), India Gate and then visit to historical monuments of Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar. We finish sightseeing with a light and sound show at Akshardham Temple. Day 03: Delhi - Amritsar (Train Journey Of 450 Kms / 6 Hrs)
In the morning, transfer in time to Railway station for Shatabdi Express train to Amritsar. India Travellers local guide will receive you at the rail station and transfer to the hotel. Evening visit Wagha boarder to experience the flag hosting ceremony which is held with pomp between Indian and Pakistan forces. Day 04: Amritsar - Dharamsala (180 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Morning visit Golden Temple, the most visited tourist attraction of Amritsar. Take a guided tour of Jalianwala Bagh and drive to Dharamsala. Evening Kora Walk (A Religious walk around the temple and residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama) during the walk you can see old Buddhist monks and nuns doing prayer and chanting Mantras. Day 05: Dharamsala
Morning visit Norbulingka (A Tibetan Centre of learning traditional art and craft). Visit to Losel Doll Museum and different workshops of Thangka paintings, Wood Craft and Statue making etc in Norbulingka. India Travellers arrange for a Cookery Demonstration around lunch time and lunch with a local family. Later visit Bhagsu nag village, Tibet Museum etc. Day 06: Dharamsala - Taragarh ( 50 Kms / 2 Hrs)
Morning we go to Dharamkot to visit Tushita Meditation Centre for an hour long introduction talk on Tibetan Buddhism. Do meditation. Around noon we drive to Taragarh. Afternoon visit Bir and Billing. Day 07: Taragarh - Pragpur (95 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Morning drive to Pragpur, a small hamlet and is the first certified Heritage Village of India. We do a walking tour around the village which hasn’t changed much in centuries. Afternoon visits to Haripur-Guler (27kms), the cradle of the Kangra School of paintings where myth merges romantically with history or the indomitable Kangra Fort (40kms). Day 08: Pragpur - Shimla ( 150 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Enjoy leisurely morning at Paragpur and we drive to Shimla. Make short stops en route for various things of interest and photography. Evening is at leisure in Shimla. Day 09: Shimla
Morning Heritage walk around the historical heritage of the city followed by visit to Viceroy House. Visis around near by popular places and We spend evening at “The Mall” enjoying the crowd on this large pedestrian roads and shopping centre. Day 10: Shimla – Chandigarh (120 Kms / 4 Hrs) – Fly To Delhi
Morning transfer by road to Chandigarh airport for the flight for Delhi. In time transfer to Delhi international airport to your flight onward.
