India Experiences on Tracks
3:35pm on April 16th, 1853, when a train with 14 railway carriages and 400 guests left Bombay's Bori Bunder for Thane, with a 21-gun salute. It was hauled by three locomotives: Sindh, Sultan, and Sahib. The journey took an hour and fifteen minutes. This was the first commercial passenger service in India. Trains have been part of the Indian landscape for over 150 years. At the turn of the century, rail travel was the first choice for travellers and adventurers, and it's still true today. Nothing beats the experience of Indian Rail Journeys.

During the trip everything worked out fine, thanks for your help there again. Also, if we were clueless about something (for example the track where our train would leave) there was always someone helpful around who would point us in the right direction.
We had a really good time in Indioa and we will definitely be back some day. It is such a beautiful country, so many friendly people and there is still so much to see and experience. So, chances are that you will be booking tickets for us again soon :-)
Hope to see you here in Germany some time and I hope that you are well.

All the best, Ann Muller, Germany
